ABOUT US

Restoration Community Church (RCC) was founded in 2010 with the mission to rebuild individuals, families, and communities. By the grace of God, that mission is pursued through bible studies, weekly worship, and walking together daily as the body of Christ.

RCC is a non-denominational church. However, their parent Ministry, Agape Development, is affiliated with the Christian Community Development Association (CCDA). Read more about our core values and our statement of faith.

OUR CORE VALUES

Resurrection of Christ– In every aspect of church-life we desire to point others towards Christ, believing that he is the only hope for the salvation of the world. (Rom 5:8, 1Pet1:3)

Reconciliation of Races– We believe that God has called all believers to “oneness” in Him, regardless of race, class, gender, and other differences. We desire our church to reflect the diversity of the neighborhood it is located in. We desire to be intentional about racial reconciliation. (John 17:21, Col 3:11)

Restoration of Families– We believe God desires to rebuild family structures in the inner-city and that families are a key building block of healthy communities. (Gen 2:24, Gen 2:18)

Rebuilding of Community– We believe that the gospel is communicated through relationships- not just in worship services, but in living life together. Therefore our focus will be the neighborhood in which we live. We desire to see our neighborhood transformed for the glory of God. (1 Thess. 2:8, Acts 2:41-47)

our core values

Therefore we are committed to reaching out to the lost in our community and around the world with the love of Christ and the message of the gospel.

Matthew 28:18-20

OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH

our statement of faith
Prayer Group

Nicene Creed (325 A.D.)

We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth,of all that is, seen and unseen.

We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one being with the Father. Through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit he became incarnate from the Virgin Mary, and was made man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried. On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son he is worshiped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets. We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.

*For the sake of unity, we chose the Nicene Creed as our statement of faith. It is the fullest and oldest explanation of the Christian faith and the most widely accepted by orthodox Christians.
